Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan

One of Canada’s largest institutional investors, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) organizes the pensions for over 120,000 teachers in the province. OTPP’s goal is to ensure the financial security of its members along with a better future. Charged with the organization’s rebrand, our main aim was to express OTPP’s mission while representing one of Canada’s largest institutional investors as an ambitious and trailblazing service.

A key focus was incorporating both the financial and educational foundations of OTPP. This led to a system built around blocks and squares both engendering a sense of stability and rigidity. The usage of blocks and squares also evoke the idea that education is the proverbial building blocks for one’s future. The result was a confident, future-ready brand refresh designed to stand the test of time.
